Getting to know the creatures of our local and Australian waters. Introduction to the fish, eels, crabs, jellyfish and the wonders of our waterways. Enjoy a day by the Hawkesbury River capturing the essence of colourful fish using simple techniques to paint in watercolours. Join us for an all day workshop under the expert guidance of Central Coast artist and designer Leonie Loewe. Learn the application of colour, shade and dimension to create interesting textures in a fun filled environment with others. You will take away your own beautiful artwork and the skills of capturing Australian fish in stunning watercolours. No previous skills needed - watercolour paints and all materials will be provided. Morning tea, lunch, and an afternoon reviver included.

Central Coast artist and designer Leonie Loewe has a passion for Australian native Flora and Fauna, and is constantly 'Inspired by Nature'. With a focus on watercolour as her medium of choice, she loves painting what she sees around her. Her designs have been featured nationally, in magazines including Cleo and NW, and featured on advertising for native products. With over 15 years’ experience in teaching adults, she loves sharing her wealth of knowledge with one on one and group classes.
