Our workshop focuses on the botanical species of Hawkesbury Sandstone and is an introduction to the exquisite diversity of our native plants. The day starts with a morning tea at the Hawkesbury Duck workshop space and museum and a nature walk to inspire you with the botanical wonders of the area. With absolutely no previous experience or skill needed, you will be guided step by step.  Learn about the basics of watercolours, colour mixing and painting techniques from Central Coast artist and designer Leonie Loewe. Enjoy exploring how to bring out the vibrancy and details of plants and flowers in the company of others.  You will take away your own beautiful artwork and the skills of capturing plants and flowers in stunning watercolours. No previous skills needed - watercolour paints and all materials will be provided. Morning tea, lunch, and an afternoon reviver along with your beautiful completed work you will take home a lovely gift.
