In places rarely experienced, we bring alive the stories of the past.

Our outdoor programs are combined with history telling talks, performance and workshops based in and around the Lower Hawkesbury. Exploring the Mailman Track

Trace the mailman track used from the early 1800s through heathland and forest. Enjoy the stories of smugglers and moonshiners around Popran Creek and 'Mary's Valley'.

The Hawkesbury Duck

Heritage Ventures works from the Hawkesbury Duck, our exhibition, workshop and meeting space at the confluence of the Hawkesbury River and Mangrove Creek. The Hawkesbury Duck hosts art forums, talks, screening and projection events. In association with Spencer Hawkesbury River History a range of historical documents, books, photographs, maps and documentation covering Spencer and Hawkesbury River histories are available for browsing.
